Transformational Breath is one of several Breathwork modalities
that evolved from the Rebirthing Breath, a connected breath discovered
by Leonard Orr in the early 1970s. The healing power of this connected
breath was further developed by many, including Leonard Orr, Sondra Ray,
Drs. Eve Jones, Jim Morningstar and Stanislav Grof, as well as Phil
Laut, Jim Leonard, Jacquelyn Small, Dan Brulé and many others, including
Dr. Judith Kravitz, co-creator of the Transformational Breath
process.
Although effective use of the connected breath is a key ingredient of
the healing power of Transformational Breath, Dr. Judith Kravitz has
added to the connected breath several other healing modalities that
greatly enhance the success of the connected breath in transforming
stuck energies in the body-mind into more useful forms of life energy.
For example, the use of toning is especially helpful to beginners in
moving through physical or emotional discomfort that may surface during
a connected breathing session. In addition, evocative music as well as a
bodywork system and related affirmations are integral parts of the
Transformational Breath process.
Dr. Judith Kravitz has added several other components that enhance
greatly the healing power of Transformational Breath. For more
details, see Dr. Judith Kravitz' excellent book,
"Breathe Deep, Laugh Loudly" , describing the Transformational
Breathing process in detail, or visit the
Transformational Breath Foundation website.

"I see clearly how some of my former negative beliefs about myself
are not true. Have released resistance to doing what is good for me. My
breathing is more open. I'm happier and lighter. I feel softer, more
confident."

"I feel more balanced, more alive, more vital. I was impressed with
how powerful opening the heart in a loving group can be. I feel
optimistic about the future. This is different from the way I've felt in
a long time. I am more in touch with myself and have a greater
understanding of what it means to heal, and greater confidence in my
ability to do it. I feel more comfortable with the challenge of life and
with taking full responsibility for my experience of life."

"I feel able to balance it all. My breathing is more comfortable. I
came to the powerful realization that I need to make time to be with
myself. It is a priority -- so simple."

"Seeing that the story of "not loving me" is buried so deep and that
it is possible to let it go."

"For 30 years I have experienced the challenge of TMJ and nightly
teeth grinding, necessitating the wearing of a bite splint every night.
Since my first Transformational Breathwork session, in February 2007 in
St. Augustine Florida, at a workshop led by Julie Wolcott and Marcia
Bailey, I no longer need to wear the splint. I say a prayer of gratitude
nightly for this gift."

"With deepest love we thank you for giving us a sacred space to
receive a profound healing experience."

"I no longer use asthma medications!! How's that for a testimonial?
Shortly after being taught Transformational Breath by Marcia Bailey
and Julie Wolcott in July 2005, my need for puffers reduced greatly, and
5 months later, I stopped all asthma medications. Through my regular use
of Transformational Breath, I have opened previously restricted
breathing patterns, integrated repressed emotional trauma, and been
given a true sense of purpose for my life. Thank you Marcia and Julie
for sharing this fabulous self-healing gift."

"The changes I've experienced (through the past three months of Transformational Breath sessions):
I spent my life suffused with anxiety, anger, terror and shame. All that has completely disappeared;
I wake up cheerful (a completely new experience!) ... and it lasts all day long. I have never been free before ...
now I am. I am deeply grateful for having tried Transformational Breath and found my way to contentment
and happiness without having to will it into being ... it's just there now, and I am 'transformed'!
There has been no other model or practice that was effective in helping me find balance, peace and well-being.
Gratitude is now my constant companion."
